She was a contestant on Survivor: The Australian Outback (2001) and is a current co-host on the daytime talk show The View (since 2003). In the past, Hasselbeck has been open about owing much of her career to the influence of her husband’s family, particularly her father-in-law, Don Hasselbeck. Although Hasselbeck previously saw herself as a “behind the scenes” kind of person and not interested in career television, or playing pundit, her agent was eager to showcase her competitive client and she auditioned for Elisabeth Hasselbeck9 The View. In 2003, Hasselbeck was one of a number of women who guest-hosted to replace outgoing The View co-host Lisa Ling, who left the show at the end of 2002. Perhaps her biggest claim to fame has been a series of cleavage-intensive Miller Lite beer “catfight” TV commercials with fellow model Tanya Ballinger in 2002. She revisited this role in an homage to the catfight ads in 2007 produced by iFilm.com. She also played herself in the mockumentary Incident at Loch Ness, in which she is purportedly hired to operate the sonar equipment, but whose real purpose is to plunge into frigid Loch Ness while wearing a g-string bikini. Baker made appearances in two WWE pay-per-view (PPV) programs, and various WWE-related promotions:

  • Unforgiven 2002 – Where she played part in a “HLA” (“Hot Lesbian Action”) theme that former WWE Raw manager Eric Bischoffbuilt up around that PPV. Reprising their roles as the Miller Lite catfight girls, they faced off against Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler in a “Fatal Four-Way Pillow Fight” which took place to one side of the WrestleMania XIX stage. The match was originally scheduled to take place in the ring but Baker and Ballinger argued over whether they should “settle it” in the ring or “in bed”; it was rescheduled to take place as a pillow-fight on a king-size bed.
  • WrestleMania XIX teasers – Prior to PPV event, Baker and Ballinger were featured in promotional commercials; similar to the Miller Light ads but arguing over who would win at Wrestlemania as opposed to the Miller Light drinks.

Patti Stanger

Patti Stanger98

Patti Stanger (born May 31, 1961) is an American matchmaker and television producer with her own Bravo TV show called The Millionaire Matchmaker. She is the founder and CEO of Millionaire’s Club International Inc., a professional matchmaking service for millionaires.

Patti Stanger35

In 2008, Stanger signed a deal to have her own reality show called Millionaire Matchmaker on the Bravo TV Network. Stanger stars in the program and also produces the show. The hour-long show follows her matchmaking at Millionaire’s Club. Each episode features her matchmaking two millionaires and occasionally a millionaire and a millionairess. First they submit a tiny biographical sketch on a DVD describing the type of partner they want. Stanger then meets them individually to better understand their desires and welcome them to the club. She’s been called “The Simon Cowell of Dating,”  and makes very quick, very direct comments. “I am not paid to hide my true feelings,” she said. Her ‘casting calls’ or “recruiting sessions” where she screens women can be brutal. She told one woman she had a beautiful face but couldn’t meet her millionaire because she was 10-15 lbs overweight. “I can’t do much for women over 45,” Stanger said in an interview, “and if they’re overweight, it’s almost impossible.”

Patti Stanger49

She told another woman to take off her wig; then she suggested she come back after she got hair extensions. The millionaires and 30-40 women first meet at a cocktail party she hosts called a “VIP mixer,” where they mingle and the millionaires get to evaluate the women. The men choose their top two women and have ten-minute “mini dates,” then they pick the one that they like best. Stanger announces the choices to the group, and then the millionaires set up their “master dates.” The Millionaire’s Club has a few rules. For example, millionaires cannot discuss sex or trade phone numbers at the mixer. “No sex on the first date,” or at any other time if the couple is not in an “exclusive, committed, monogamous relationship.”

Patti Stanger69

There is also a two drink maximum enforced on each date. If a millionaire violates the terms of the club, then Patti can even throw them out of the club. At the end of each episode after the dates, Stanger calls each millionaire, or invites them into her office to discuss how the date went; this is after she calls the person they chose for their master date. The show concludes with updates on each couple, saying whether they are still together or not.

A given name (also known as a personal name, first name, forename, or Christian name) is a part of a person’s full nomenclature. It identifies a specific person, and differentiates that person from other members of a group, such as a family or clan, with whom that person shares a common surname. The term given name refers to the fact that the name is bestowed upon, or given to a child, usually by its parents, at or near the time of birth. This contrasts with a surname (also known as a family name, last name, or gentile name), which is normally inherited, and shared with other members of the child’s immediate family.
Given names are often used in a familiar and friendly manner in informal situations. In more formal situations the surname is more commonly used, unless it is necessary to distinguish between people with the same surname. The idioms “on a first-name basis” and “being on first-name terms” allude to the familiarity of addressing another by a given name.

Jimmy Donal Wales

Jimmy Donal Wales ( born August 7, 1966) is an American Internet entrepreneur best known as a co-founder and promoter of the online non-profit encyclopedia Wikipedia and the Wikia company. Wales was born in Huntsville, Alabama, United States, where he attended Randolph School, a university-preparatory school, then earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in finance.   While in graduate school, he taught at two universities, but left before completing a PhD in order to take a job in finance and later worked as the research director of a Chicago futures and options firm. In 1996, he and two partners founded Bomis, a male-oriented web portal featuring entertainment and adult content. The company would provide the initial funding for the peer-reviewed free encyclopedia Nupedia (2000–2003) and its successor, Wikipedia. On January 15, 2001, with Larry Sanger and others, Wales launched Wikipedia, a free, open content encyclopedia that enjoyed rapid growth and popularity, and as Wikipedia’s public profile grew, he became the project’s promoter and spokesman. He is historically cited as a co-founder of Wikipedia, though he has disputed the “co-” designation, declaring himself the sole founder. Wales serves on the Board of Trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation, the non-profit charitable organization he helped establish to operate Wikipedia, holding its board-appointed “community founder” seat. In 2004, he co-founded Wikia, a for-profit wiki-hosting service.
